BioSpace Unveils Its Annual List of Up-and-Coming Life Sciences Companies

DES MOINES, Iowa–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BioSpace, the leader in life sciences news and careers, today announced their NextGen Bio “Class of 2020,” a list of 21 up-and-coming life sciences companies in the United States.

The list represents some of the most promising new companies across the biopharma sector that are already making an impact in the industry and will have an even bigger impact in the future.

Cerevel Therapeutics topped the list, with Anthos Therapeutics, Century Therapeutics, Cyclerion Therapeutics and Mirium Pharmaceuticals rounding out the Top 5.

To come up with the NextGen Bio “Class of 2020,” BioSpace analyzed biopharma companies that launched* no earlier than mid-2018 and awarded points to the companies based on four categories: finance, collaborations, pipeline and innovation.
