((denise valdez)) a product called cyber clean claims to do the job better than a can of air or a cleansing wipe. but does it work? ((paul joncich)) consumer advocate michelle mortensen found out. she put cyber clean to the "try-it-before- you-buy-it-test. >> ((commercial: your work place is infected with dirt dust dead skin debris bacteria and virus )) ((michelle mortensen)) ((:17 yum... but never fear cyber clean is here and it promises to get rid of all those germs and bacteria and yucky stuff? )) how ... this yellow blob .. that very closely resembles slimer from ghostbusters he slimed me kills germs on contact ... while also eliminating finger prints .. food and dust. ((and there is no better place to test this out then right here in our control room because our keyboards and phones are gross. )) seriously .. it's like slimer had a meal in here ... but i digress. ((so here's our cyber cleam .. it's a lot like lemony slime (i smell it) )) i take the slimey blob and press it into a nasty keyboard ... per the directions which i read carefully. and at first the results we're .... well ... ((more hair .. eww )) hard to identify .. i mean i saw the hair .. but could you? i pressed on... but it wasn't getting any of the gunk stuck in the keyboard out. (( you know what would be more effective (pounds keyboard) )) that actually did quite well... so we moved on to phones. ((7:17 let's put it on .. ok make a call ... i mean it's alright)) )) in fact it really did the best on dust lying around the desks and in crevices. ((10:03 now that it did beautifully )) as the cyber clean slime picks up dust and dirt it changes color .. to a nice slimer green. evidently that's how you know it's time to throw out. however the dirtier it got .. the better it worked in my opinion. ((12:32 gasps did you see that .. it picked up a lot of gunk )) so in the end ((15:37 it's not half bad .. not perfect but will do the job shrugs )) if nothing else ... at least the control room got cleaned... cyber clean costs as little as 4 bucks .. and they say you can use it on anything .. even non electronic items like the bottom of your purse ... or the crevices in your car. got something you want me to try before you then hit me up pn facebook. and you migth see your suggestion, next time. i'm mm ((paul joncich)) >>> thanks for watching 8 news now at five.
