Business Beat Fri, 17 Mar 2017 22:39:47 +0000 Business Beat Business Beat KXMB patty's day with a different kind of crawl. and a department store chain in our area is down in the dumps. here's cynthia hill. gordman's things are coming to a close for gordman's across the country. the discount store chain gordmans announced on monday that it has filed for bankruptcy, and they are liquidating all stores. the retailer has four locations in north dakota including one in minot, bismarck, grand forks and fargo. the company hasn't listed a time frame yet for when it plans to close its stores and liquidate their inventory. the one in hay creek shops is still open but will close along with the others until further notice. dollar tree all is not lost. good news for that same plaza.. it's still growing. dollars tree has opened up next to rue 21. boutique crawl exchange your pub crawl for something else. that's the message from some downtown business in the capital city. they are banding together this st. patty's day to give cutomers a little luck. stella's home decor shop is doing something unique if you're looking for your pot of gold this weekend. (d'arcie malsaf, owner, stella's) "instead of a pub crawl, it's a boutique crawl or you can do both." minot story speaking of boutiques.. key bliss opened this week in the dakota square mall in minot. they're first was in grand forks. women's clothing is their specialty.
