Tony Toscano reviews two movies out for Easter Weekend. Fri, 14 Apr 2017 17:25:11 +0000 Tony's Movie Reviews Tony Toscano reviews two movies out for Easter Weekend. KTVX ABC 4 Salt Lake City >> people are staying home, but give us a good movie that we could watch at home. those are some of the questions i'm getting around the holidays now. >> what about the movie in theaters this weekend? >> up talk about what's opening, the first movies opening really limited, is called the lost city of z. this is based on a book that was printed in 1950s called the exploration faucet.percy fossett is the guy that went into the amazon and was searching for this lost city. he made a number of trips into the jungle. this movie covers three of those explorations. in this stars charlie kunin from sons of anarchy. >> sienna miller is on this. >> the movie overall is very well acted. it's got great cinematography. but it's not the adventure film i think people are going to go see if not indiana jones, it doesn't have that kind of action to it. this is kind of a passionless journey into the jungle. it really is a very slow and meticulous movie i gave it a c and is rated pg-13. >> this is the fate of the furious, this is the eighth movie in the fast and furious franchise. f8 as people are reducing it down to. we'll have time to say fate of the furious. >> it's well done, ããvin diesel, dwayne johnson, charlie staring, in this movie dom played by vin diesel, goes rogue and it's up to the group to figure out why. and to stop him from doing the ultimate evil act. this is one of those movies you know exactly what you get when you pay your dollar. they're getting back to more racing more streetcar more great stumps, it's your edge of the three seat thriller, they really do a good job but again, it's just hold back a little bit.
