http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12451/6882011?cpt=8&wpid=2637 Fri, 21 Apr 2017 03:27:30 +0000 Two Bay High Stars Inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame Two Bay High Stars Inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12451/6882011?cpt=8&wpid=2637 WMBB hello friends... in sports its always great to lead the team in the most homeruns... or touchdowns... or wins .... but at the end of the day the most important thing you can do is leave a lasting impact on the team and the school... and the fans around you... that is just what two bay high stars did during their time at bay... and tonight both tombo martin and jim scroggins recieving their spot on the hall of fame wall of john l cobb gynamisum next to 12 other bay high stars who made their impression on bay high athletics... tombo martin was a stud pitcher for the bay high tornadoes back in his day... where he set multiple records including his senior year when he led his team to the final four and had a single season record of 5 no hitters... he then went on to get drafted by the baltimore oreoles and spent 21 years within the league... coach tombo now finds himself right back at bay helping coach the tornadoes baseball team... and in his free time hunting with the buck commanders... coach jim scroggins is a bay high football coach legend... he started his tenure at bay in 19-92 when he quickly turned the football program around and leading them to state runner up in the 19-93 state champion ships... both legends were thrilled to be inducted into bay highs athletic hall of fame but they said its bay that made them the standup gentlemen that they are today.. ive got friends that will never go away. thats the things you always remember after you leave high school is the good times and the good people you hung out with and that doesnt go away. it is an absolute fantastic honor. this school has been in operation over 100 years and bay high is a magnificent place. in my 50 year career the 14 years here was the longest i had in any one place so this is home really so getting to come back is a
