[laughter] >> jeremy: we want to welcome to the show. [simultaneous speaking.] >> kelly: these guys are professionals, jeremy. >> jeremy: we want to welcome to the show jonah and vance from database. database is one of our sponsors of the 1 million cups business spotlight. i love database and apple. >> guest: it's awesome! i can't blame you. [laughter] >> jeremy: what's going on at database? >> guest: it's awesome. business is great. we came up with new products. of course, we have the ipad pros. we had the new mac book pro with a touch bar. it's awesome. a lot of people have been asking about it. it's been great. >> jeremy: what are the concerns about the touch bar. kelly says she is afraid of it. >> kelly: i've had an ipad. and i feel like i don't know how to use it, so maybe you can show us. >> guest: i brought the ipad pro with me. the ipad pro, i brought the smart pencil with it, too. >> kelly: that's what i need. >> guest: it's the newest thing to migrate you from -- it's supposed to be more of a mobile computer. they improved a lot of stuff on the inside to operate like a computer should be able to operate but it's mobile. it can do split screens, it's got speakers in every corner, awesome sound quality, sharp, beautiful display l we figured we'd bring it to show it off. >> kelly: how long has this been out? >> guest: for a little over a year half. >> jeremy: what's the difference between the ipad and the pro? >> guest: the processing power. that's the main different. it's faster, crisper display, more powerful device. >> kelly: better camera? >> guest: it does. it's designed for professional use. >> jeremy: do they number the ipads like the iphones? >> guest: kind of. they just discontinued the air and replaced it with the regular ipad. they number them but come out with new versions that the numbers don't get so high. >> kelly: do they lose their value quick? i've had mine 4 or 5 years. what am i missing on? >> guest: they hold their value well. we have a lot of customers that bring in the ipad 2. and that's really common. the life of them, is incredibly long. and what you could do with them with last long. the ipad 2 has been out for years and years and you can still operate the new operating system on it. it's awesome! as far as values are concerned. ipads hold well resale value. >> kelly: do you guys take trade-ins? >> guest: we don't directly. >> jeremy: how is the ipad mini? >> guest: yes, the mini is still up and going. it's a great use if you're trying to read on the go. and it's the perfect application. >> jeremy: are you the premier place to come for apple products and repair, correct? >> guest: yes. >> jeremy: so joy on our show has had bad luck with her mac book pro. >> kelly: she brought it over there. >> jeremy: so anybody has a problem, is there any problem you can't fix, or what do you do if you can't? >> guest: we're able to do pretty much anything in-store. there are very few issues apple requires that we mail directly to them. for the most part, we're a apple service provider and do everything in-house. >> kelly: can i take classes, too? >> guest: that's our main service is training. we have classes that we put on once a month in each category. we do a mac os basics for laptops and ios for mobile. and we have imovie classes and individual one-on-one training. you can sit down with myself or vance. and we walk you through your problem. teach you how to use everything better and navigate faster. it's awesome! >> jeremy: can i sign her up! >> kelly: i need a personal teacher. >> jeremy: do you know how many times she says, jeremy, can you teach me? i don't have time for that! >> kelly: i have to see one-on-one, show me how to do it instructions. >> jeremy: let me ask, since you're in the industry and i love apple, now, i heard a rumor there's a new iphone coming out in september. do you have any scoop? can you give us anything you know? >> guest: so far only rumors. apple is notorious for not telling anybody about new stuff until 2 weeks before. i try to keep the scoop on it. i'm in a program that they try to elude to things happen. >> kelly: can i come and get one of these? >> guest: yes. >> kelly: i can buy one of these? >> guest: yes. >> jeremy: you
