"we actually haven't had this group. he's actually been experimenting with different combinations the whole season. it wasn't until regions until we were this set group...exciting." high schoolers are not the only ones putting a finishing touch on their season. u-a-a outdoor track and field wrapping up in florida this weekend. coming into this meet the seawolves men were ranked twenty first in the nation.but they managed to grab 15 points over the weekend. leaving them tied for thirteenth nationally individually u-a-ar eceived all- america performances from soldotna's danielle mccormick and fairbanks' tevin gladden we can't move on from talking about talk track and field without mentioning allie ostrander. the kenai central grad qualified for the ncaa championships in both 3 thousand and 5 thousand meter steeplechase for boise state over the weekend. lastly tonight it seems like every sunday we find ourselves talking about alaskan athletes getting it done at the next level. well today is no different. anchorage's max karnos and the sacramento state's baseball team winning the western athletic conference tournament championship. beating cal state bakersfield five to nothing karnos a senior appeared in ten games striking out twenty two this season. saturday's victory earns the hornets an automatic bid to the 2017 ncaa division one regionals. when we come back... we'll tell you why one alaskan middle schooler is representing
