"identify certain kids that i will give the name to the area scout where that kid is from.. whether that be in georgia, alabama, or in california, i will call that scout, give him my notes that i have taken and say hey next year this would be a good kid to follow, you have a prospect here." on top of the showcase this weekend the a-b-l bests will be on hand for the leagues home run derby and all star game this sunday at mulcahy. many have been anticipating its start since last summer, the alaskaman, an extreme triathlon beginning tomorrow in seward and ending at the top of alyeska. starting at four o'clock in the morning three hundred and twenty people will begin at resurrection bay. the extreme triathlon is just over one hundred and forty miles in all inlcuding a two point six mile swim, 113 point five mile bike ride, and 27 point five mile run. race director aaron palaian says the race has been two years in the making, and he is excited to see comptetitors cross the finish line. "what's more special then anything is the finish the last seven miles. we will see some people crying some people with their fists in the air screaming others collapsing in exhaustion. you going to see a whole array of emotions at that finish line." palaian syas they expect a finsiher at around 2 o'clock tomorrow, and make sure to tune in tomorrow as we will have the results from the race. lastly tonight.... anchorage high school bowler ...alec dudley recently signing his national letter of intent to bowl at iowa central community college. he will look to help the triton's to a second consecutive national junior college athletic association championship. in his senior year, dudley averaged a 223 score in the youth league at center bowl and averaged 219 in the anchorage scholastic bowling league. he was a four year member of the all star team and bowler of the year for the last two years. a veteran gets recognized 70- years later. hear the emotional story of one man as
