"(mike morrissey/moline head coach)"we don't talk about really wins and winning football games as much as we talk about giving your effort, giving your total effort with things. that's kind of the philosophy that we landed on to push our guys to understand that the outcome is not always what you want, but if you give everything that you have and don't hold anything back and have no regrets with it, then you're a winner." atnip/moline senior fb/lb) "in years past, i don't think it was really as intense as it is now. with our new coach and everything, he's just been out here trying to tell us total effort...give it our all, and try our best. (hunter henning/moline senior ol) "he's trying to stress more, you only play one side of the ball, so there's more of a rivalry between the offense and the defense and it gives you a better look. years before, it's you're going up against a scout team defense, you're going against someone that's not as good, so you just get a better feel for the real players out there."
