http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12509/7053503?cpt=8&wpid=2637 Mon, 21 Aug 2017 16:32:57 +0000 Stay organized throughout the school year Women empowerment and business mentor Galit Ventura-Rozen shares her school related organization tips http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12509/7053503?cpt=8&wpid=2637 KLAS Las Vegas, NV and keep some sort of structure. >>> with school back in session it could be hard for the whole family to stay on track.ne busy mama 3 is here to help everyone stay organized. welcome. >>> thank you, thank you for having me. >> you have three children. >> i do. >> kids these days with sports and activities, how to keep them all dialed in. >> one of the things i do and what i have done since day one because my oldest will be 21 what is the age group, 14, 18 and 21. >>> no free time. >> definitely everything i do is for them. one of the first things i do when school starts or before school starts, sometimes we already have our school calendar. immediately i plug in school holidays first thing i do, plug in school holidays the second they get into sports i plug into my google calendarle and live and breathe my google calendar. as i plug in any of 245eur sports, where their games are, the addresses, locations, dates. i've got as much in any calendar before i get started. >> all laid out. >> so come monday, tuesday night of the week my wife and i, what do you want for dinner? i adopt know. we have no kids, how does a family with one, two, three, four kids how do you keep dinner organized. >> i learned the hard way. my youngest gets out at 3:30 and. who comes home starving. they don't always like the school lunches. mom whacker is to eat, i'll start trying to make dinner. i actually sit down on sunday and i actually set up what i'm going to cook because i really do love cooking. i buy everything for the week and make it a fun event with my kids. we cook on sundays and that way all the food is made. when she walks in starving she gets to eat. >>> the kids are very busy, how do you manage that quality one-on-one time. >>> one of the first thing i want to share with any parent to really, really recognize that when at a snap of your fingers that child is grown up. my baby is 14, i don't even know how. >> blink of an eye. >> when they're little they love to share everything with you. know that call will be there afterwards. the text will wait for you. when they say mom, i have something so exciting to share about you. typically she doesn't shut the door when she gets into the car because i pick her up. and she wants to spill everything to me in five minutes flat on the drive home make sure how important that time is with your child. >>> i can only talk about moms. you have to have to make sure you set up time for yourself. if it is 30 minutes here, 20 minutes there, whatever you love to do even if it is a quack around the block or going into the backyard for a few minutes. if you don't cake i take care of yourself you don't have energy to take care of them. >>> i did it today. >>> one week in school and we're four days in. >>> i took a me day while at school, didn't have any appointments
