Coast residents star in upcoming movie

From the smells of Labor Day bbq to Christmas lights and music in just a matter of 24 hours. Coast residents have their opportunity at 15 minutes of fame during a moving filming in Jones Park tonight. The Christmas movie will feature the lighting of the famous dancing trees from the Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival. Dozens of volunteers showed up to create a festive look as a backdrop for scenes in the movie that will showcase the beauty of Gulfport all around the world. The volunteer opportunity was originally set for August 26th, but was rescheduled due to bad weather.
