Falcons Look for Two Straight Wins over Rebels Thu, 14 Sep 2017 03:26:11 +0000 SportsZone GOTW Preview: West Sioux Falcons Look for Two Straight Wins over Rebels KCAU #1 in our jordan:friday night our woodhouse game of the week will take us down to sloan iowa for a big time battle in class a's district 1. 4th ranked west sioux and westwood. the falcons are a perfect 3-0 on the year outscoring teams 159-32! west sioux is led by senior running back jake lynott, who's already racked up 8 touchdowns and 540 yards on 34 carries, that's an average of 15.9 yards per carry. both squads enter 1-0 in district play, west sioux got the better of westwood a year ago, but they know if they want to move to 4-0, they'll have to be ready for whatever westwood throws at them. "actually last year was a really good game, defensively they did some really good things against us last year. i think if anything because it was such a good game last year, we're definitely not looking past it this year so we're looking forward to a good tough football game." "they brought a tough defense to us last year that took a while to adjust to but their team brings a lot of energy to the table and if we don't come prepared it could be them up early or something like that and that throws off a lot so we gotta come prepared to play right away." "you know everybody likes to get out to a fast start, but the big thing is, we just have play our game, if we don't score right away or we don't get ahead right away we just have to stick with it, we think we're multiple enough on offense that we can find something that's going to work, obviously if it's working right from the start that's what we'd like but hopefully we'll find something that we can take advantage of." "i mean we gotta watch their blitzes, they're all over the place, but in my opinion i think we won't really have that much trouble." kickoff friday in sloan is set for 7pm. we'll be live at 6 with interviews from the coaches during our sportscast. falcon
