Thu, 12 Oct 2017 21:23:12 +0000Meatheads CamburgersDinner and a Movie with General Manager Jason Huff of Meatheads Burgers.http://chic.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/12463/7127381?cpt=8&wpid=2637WCIA>> well our grill is heating up for a one of a kind burger. not only tastes great. but it's going to help pay it forward in our community. joining us for dinner and movie for a day, jason hop, movie and a dinner here in town. welcome back. >> hi. >> let's talk a little bit about this cam burger, who inspired it? >> ken meredith from the chicago bears. he is new to the team and actually got an injury this year already. but we're going to be, you know, following his recovery and show his determination and hard work. meat heads. that's kind of our thing, muscles and hard work. we like to celebrate it. we had a video on facebook about his rise to the nfl. and his promise to his mother and trying to make it into the big time. and then we partnered with him over this burger because of social works. have you ever heard of social works? >> i have not. >> do you know who chance the rapper is? >> i have heard of chance the rapper. >> chance the rapper started a foundation youth charity. and raised $2.2 million since they started last year. >> wow. >> and cam wanted to raise money for this charity. so we started the cam burger and 20% of every burger that is sold goes to the works. >> that's awesome. what kind of burger did he collaborate with you on? >> this is actually his burger, what he orders when he comes to the store. it's a take on hawaiian. jalapeno, bacon, pineapple barbeque sauce and two patties. >> that's high. right? >> because of all that we have been seeing lately, we decided to increase it. meat head was locally owned. we expanded through chicago and down here in champaign. we wanted to give back to the community. we know the community needs the help. >> that's right. we were looking at some of the opportunities that people have to come and support, it looks like holy cross. and pink heel. >> oh, right. >> the east four band. how does that work? >> next week we are actually doing three different fundraisers for the schools and for pink heels. so just contact me. and just let me know when you want to set it up and it's sort of like a dine and dasher kind of thing where people come in and if they are with the flyer or with the group, 20% of their sale goes directly back to the organization. >> well that's cool. okay so we have got this thing heated up. you have been checking the temperature to make sure we are good to go. >> yes, ma'am. >> you didn't mention about an egg. where did that come in? >> eggs on top. >> oh, my goodness. this is going to be a large mouth watering burger. >> it's going to be a good burger. has got the sweet, spicy and savory thing going on. >> you have the sweet and spicy with the jalapeno. >> something else i wanted to mention while this is frying up here something else new, delivery. >> oh, yeah. >> how does this work? >> i have been working on this the last year. we partnered with eat streets. it's a third party delivery service. you can go through their website. we will bring it to you. average delivery time is 30 minutes from the time you place the order which is pretty good. >> wow that is awesome and so convenient for people who can't get away from work and want a really good burger. it's not just burgers on your menu. let's see what you have to offer. i am seeing salad and chips. >> we have so much. we have more vegetarian items than any meat places in town. it's all hand breaded. nothing is ever frozen in our restaurant. it's fantastic food. people need to come and check you out. we need to get our eggs frying. burgers grilling and in the meantime you can connect
