Industry leader in second-party data ownerIQ taps INAP’s OpenStack-powered bare-metal IaaS offering.
INAP selected for global availability, elasticity to grow quickly and lower latency to improve delivery of content.
ATLANTA and BOSTON, Dec. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Internap Corporation (NASDAQ:INAP), (“INAP” or the “Company”), a provider of high-performance Internet infrastructure, Colocation, Network and Managed Services, and Cloud Services, and ownerIQ, the leading second-party data solution powering the largest transparent data economy for retailers and brands, today announced a new cloud hosting agreement at INAP’s data center in Secaucus, NJ, that is designed to grow as ownerIQ expands their CoEx platform features for seamless second-party data sharing.
ownerIQ chose INAP among other larger competitors, based upon the company’s ability to support ownerIQ’s continued growth and expansion to new advanced platforms. This included the ability to deliver Bare-Metal Cloud services with automated APIs for faster provisioning of compute resources and workloads, delivering data with lower latency to marketing partners at a competitive price globally. INAP’s ownership of Tier 3-like data centers where the Cloud footprint is provisioned was an important factor as well, providing a future proof growth platform in a highly available environment improving reliability and elasticity of the platform. In addition, INAP showed significantly lower latency and error rates over other competitors.
“INAP is pleased to be able to deliver an elastic Cloud platform to meet the growth needs of ownerIQ. Our ability to deliver Bare-Metal Cloud services with automated APIs for faster provisioning of compute resources and workloads, was very important to ownerIQ, given their rapid and continued growth with marketing partners,” said Peter Bell, SVP INAP Sales. “INAP’s AgileSERVER Cloud is assisting ownerIQ to deliver their CoEx platform with lower latency to partners improving reliability and elasticity of the platform.”
INAP’s cloud services are designed to meet the demands of large-scale, high-performance workloads. More than virtual and bare-metal, our cloud solutions are backed by low-latency IP service for maximum network performance. With INAP’s enterprise-class cloud solutions ownerIQ can meet customization, scalability and security requirements without sacrificing performance or support.
“This move has allowed us to scale our infrastructure more quickly and more cost effectively. One of the key components of our partnership with INAP is the support we get from their technical staff and in this area INAP has excelled,” said James Gurney, VP of Technology Operations, ownerIQ. “The service and support is best-in-class and has allowed us to design and scale our infrastructure to handle the billions of transactions we process every day and the vast quantities of data we process.”
