Jason Valentine reviews Avengers Infinity War Sat, 28 Apr 2018 00:23:30 +0000 Avengers: Infinity War - View on Film Jason Valentine reviews Avengers Infinity War KVEW welcome back. 10 years ago next week, iron man premiered starting the marvel cinematic universe. today marks the opening of its 19th film, avengers infinity war...bringing together a massive cast....and huge expectations. kapp kvew's jason valentine is here to let you know if it lives up to the hype, in this week's view on film. 3 view on film. thanks mike. he we go.......marvel studios has proven to be the most successful brand in its 10 years of existance. avengers infinity war is the culmination of that decade of dominance.....and fans, including myself have been eagerly awaiting its release. in this one....almost every character from the movies comes together to battle the threat of thanos......who is in search of 6 power sources so he can extermination half of all life in the universe.....and the avengers must stop him before he completes his infinity gauntlet.oh my goodness. the reason marvel studios has been so successful, is they take huge gambles with casting and storylines. their first decision was to hire washed up robert downey junior for iron it seems like a sure thing...but that wasn't the case 10 years ago. with infinity war, they have blazed a new path with their heroes. this is nothing like any of their previous films. with the embarassment of riches, you'd think characters would get lost in the sheer number of them.....but they all have their moments.....and josh brolin as thanos, brings a fully developed bad guy with a method to his madness. it is an excellent film, that will challenge how you think about these films. there are huge laughs........and always, huge emotional moments. this isn't a feel good summer will leave with the weight of what happened. remember, this is part 1.....with part 2 next year......and it's going to be a long wait for the conclusion. marvel should be commended for the guts to follow through on a film that tests your resolve for these characters.
