Oklahoma man charged with mailing hundreds of white-powder letters
An Oklahoma man is facing federal charges after allegedly mailing hundreds of letters containing white powder to public officials and media outlets. The mailings reportedly targeted recipients ahead of the 2024 and 2026 elections.
Authorities have determined the powder in at least some of the letters consisted of nonhazardous substances such as yeast or flour, though testing of all letters is not yet complete.
